There still seems to be a little confusion as to why Community Marketing University is changing.

From this bloggers eyes it is clear, let me explain…..

I have not been a CMU7 member from the very start but have a little insite as to what has happened in the past. Some things longtime members may not even know!  How did I get this insite?………..  I took the bull by the horns!

I was building my online business and didn’t need another outside program to mess with…. I still don’t! But after some friends kept bugging me to join, I became curious and joined. I went to the Monday Minutes live online meetings CMU7 has every Monday evening and liked what CMU7 Founder and CEO Beef (Steve Sloan) was doing. I stayed active with CMU7 while still working on my online business and websites.

The more I explored CMU7, the more I liked what I saw! I knew This would have to be part of my growing business ….. My Businesses Front Door! I was looking for the tools CMU7 had in their toolbox for my business and couldn’t believe I could get so much for so little at CMU7!

To make a long story short, CMU7 and Web TraffiCircle are now joined to benefit all members.

Now, the reason I took the bull by the horns is CMU7 was doing great the end of 08 and beginning of 09. New members were poring in and excitement was everywhere!  But few ever really cought any benefit and got lost in the excitement.  New membership slowed and activity slacked off almost as quickly as it picked up only months before.

By this time I was as worried as Beef was about the future of CMU7. I sure didn’t want to loose access to all that Beef had built! I was proactive and jumped in to help any way I could!   

There were meeting of the minds, and then they let in Beef and I…… LOL

We dicded members were getting lost in the overloaded social community website because of all the added tools, training and products. Everything was there, but members did not know whitch way to go. Lots of decitions had to be made quickly and some might mean losing members!  I may be wrong, but with sagging VIP and Elite membership and little activity it ment cutting our losses and moving forward with a better affiliate system, more easy to follow instructions, a better member contact system, and a website that could easily handle being the "HUB" of even more tools and member benefits.

As you may have guessed….. the CMU7 Hub was born!  Still in development stages, the hub has more features with easier navigation and instructions to every link and tool. (more is being added daily)  The affiliate system will take admin a while to manually switch over and some downlines may change.  WAIT! Do not start yelling yet!  Any paying members will painstatenly be placed in the correct downline!  You should even make more commissions through the new system!  The new affiliate system is mot a Matrix but a flat afffiliate system. Every member you personally referr will be in your first line to infinaty! You may help your first line referr and you will make commissions from every one of them, and so on 7 levels down! Unlike the Matrix which would force referals into your 2nd or 3rd …. downlines  once your first line was full. The new affiliate system also makes it easy to earn from the sale of any product on CMU7 (depending on membership level)!

Along with the improved pay system and more instruction with easier access to our tools, we have more features already!

1. An email basic course for new members helping with navigation and use of CMU7 tools will help members find and use CMU7 and quicker see the benefit of upgrading and creating a commission for you. (This will also be offered as a course when finished)
2. ARTICLES!  Members can submit their articles and author bio for visitors to see and other members to use on their sites and get you more exposure! As the article database grows, members can pick articles via category to use in their marketing.  Submitting articles will draw traffic quickly as well.
3. AUDIO! Members can post their audio files for visitors and members to listen to!

Community Marketing University is moving under your feet!

Have you felt the excitement? The tremors? The shock waves?

No? ………….. We are trying to be careful!

While CMU7’s mission stays the same, changes in the world and internet dictates changes in the ways we deliver our promise.

Trying to keep up with demand by adding tools, services, and training to our old community website made it so complicated members were getting confused, the script and Admin was over loaded, and frankly we were failing our members. The beginning of 2009 was a huge success for CMU7 with many new members and lots of enthusiasm, but the members got lost in our tools and training! We have it all! But no one can use it all at once! By trying to stay ahead of the Internet changes, we shoved right on by most of our members!

New software was purchased and more step by step instructions are being added along with email lessons and videos on how to use each  tool in CMU7. New mailing systems were installed to insure better contact with members, out browser toolbar has been re-vamped to offer everyone using it more functionality. Our social community is being phased into CMU7 on Ning for more member visibility. The Matrix will stay active for income and  lead generation but not used as the main affiliate system anymore for automation sake.

The New software (site) is the CMU7 Hub. It is just that. The hub of everything CMU7. From the Hub every tool, service,  training, and income opportunity will be linked with information on what  each particular tool, training, service, or income opportunity will do with instructions on how to use it. The Hub will also be used as the affiliate system. This will help all members earn through a straight affiliate system integrated in the Hub for ease of adding income streams and products members can earn from. There are also a lot of people that do not see the power of the matrix system and are skeptical of these type systems so would not upgrade on that system.  We will now offer both systems to capture more affiliates for our members!

Newly added member activities to the Hub Include the article section where members can add their own articles with an author bio. Any member can then use their article where ever they want as long as the author bio stays attached! This will pull in lots of highly targeted visitors for CMU7 members!

Another section just activated is the Audio section. Here members will be able to listen to recorded CMU7 meetings and training sessions as well as post their own audio tracks. Please leave feedback as to what categories you think are needed.

Admin now has over 10 messages (and still adding) in the basic email training every new member will get after they sign up. This series is to inform new members of the benefits of CMU7 and show them the way around. We hope to help every member get more benefit from our site which will create more income for all members. This CMU7 email course will be offered by a seprate signup soon so existing members can take advantage of the information and also use it as a lead generator.

These are just the highlights of what is going on at CMU7! The great thing is…. it is never to late to join and you can always come back!
